Our mission is to further the Independence of people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

HISTORY

Established in the State of Florida in 1962 by a group of concerned family members and friends of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

For over 60 years, the Miami Achievement Center has strived to provide every opportunity for our clients to become more productive, self-fulfilled, and happy citizens in our local community. We are able to help our clients reach their fullest potentials through our multifaceted program offerings.

LICENSURE AND ACCREDITATION

The organization is licensed by several state agencies that oversee the provision of services for individuals with disabilities including the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, the Agency for Health Care Administration, Florida Department of Children and Families, and our newest national health care accreditation by the Joint Commission.
