Services
Behavior Services PDF Print E-mail

Behavior Analysis and Behavior Assistant services are offered in our Intermediate Care Facility, Group Homes, Adult Day Training centers, as well as in the community. Our goal is to minimize maladaptive behavior while teaching new more appropriate behavior to assist our clients in achieving the highest level of independence.

 
Intermediate Care Facility PDF Print E-mail

In 1973, MACtown opened the doors of its Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). This residential facility houses fifty-six developmentally disabled adults, where they are taught daily living and social skills necessary for succeeding in society. All of our residents work in the community or attend Adult Day Training Programs.

Supported Employment services help individuals with developmental disabilities to overcome barriers in the community that prevent them from being gainfully employed.

To support individuals who reside in their own homes or apartments in the completion of their activities of daily living.

The Supported Independent Living program provides services to individuals that live and work independently in the community. Individuals are assisted with their daily living skills such as money management, housekeeping, and transportation needs.

Group Homes offer residential services to individuals in a small family-like atmosphere. This environment is conducive to learning, building healthy and long-lasting relationships, and working and living together in harmony. Our Group Homes are located in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.

 
Adult Day Training PDF Print E-mail

The Adult Day Training program (ADT) is a daily program that provides each individual with goals based on Person Centered Planning. The program provides both functional academic and vocational training skills. Moreover, individuals learn job skills that can prepare them for community based employment.
